There is still hope

I am currently in UTP. Breathing the fresh (read: hot) air, within the surroundings of birds chirping and far-from-city-hustle bustle atmosphere. But that is not the real reason why i feel refreshed and comforted.

Went to pray at the astonishingly beautiful new mosque of UTP, or i should called it “Masjid Terapung UTP”. Surrounded by man-made lake, hence the name. But this is still not the real reason why i am refreshed & energized.

I am energized by observing young talents, leaning at one of the many pillars of the mosque, reading & memorizing the Quran. I feel refreshed chatting with some young, passionate youth who raised their concerns are about current de-moralization of Malaysian students.  I feel soothed after observing a group of muslimah students covering their aurat perfectly. I feel fired up when some of the students asking me “Which Jews brand should we boycott?” and “Is this product Jewish?” or “Alamak, saya terbeli produk Yahudi ni, macamana ye?”

All these scenarios that i went through since yesterday, was just an amplified version of what was written by Zainuddin Ghafar in Kalam JKP  www.pembina.com.my.

Keep our heads up, move forward & never surrender!  For The rise of Islam is just few blocks away, waiting patiently for us.
